This is more for hutch's sake - victoria sponge cake... ikut madame exfttattm buat pics step by step.
first is to cream 110 gm butter, add 110 gm sugar, then 2 eggs, bit of vanilla, lastly 110 gram flour (selfraising). you get a thin layer of batter so NO NEED to slice the cake :) suits my type of recipe - five ingredients ngam ngam.
pan is lightly greased and floured. this is not the real sandwich loaf but can do.
then put strawberry jam in between and dust with icing sugar. makan.
nanti i gambar cake dah siap. actually batter ni nampak banyak coz i doubled to make 2 sponge cakes (ie four layers).
